Listen Mittens, if we’re going to talk about being entitled perhaps we should first discuss how some people are born into wealthy, auto company owning, weirdo Mormon families, while some are born in slums. I assume you’d argue that the former is entitled to a Harvard education, caviar dreams, and champagne wishes while the latter is entitled to no education, jobs with unlivable wages, and no way out? If you’re only entitled to what you can afford, I don’t see how you could mean anything else.

You and that 47% of people you speak of have more in common than you think. The differences lie in how you word it. There is a difference between things people are entitled to and things people DESERVE. The fact that you believe that healthcare, food and housing are “entitlements,” proves how disconnected you are from the realities outside of your Mitt Romney Dream House. A free Slurpee from 7/11 on July 11th of every year is something you’re entitled to, the ability to go to a hospital when you’re sick, having a place to call home and food on your table are things all human beings, let alone Americans, DESERVE. Whether you call them entitlements or basic human needs, here lies one facet of life that you and this 47% have in common. You both understand that no one is entitled to anything, and nothing comes for free. The only difference is that you’ve never had to feel like you deserved these things because you’ve always had them, they feel that way because they never have.

Not paying taxes also seems to be a common trend among you and that 47%. They don’t pay because they have little to no income to be taxed on, and funnily enough you do, too! It’s just curious that while they pay no taxes and are monetarily worth nothing, you pay barely any taxes and you’re worth $250 million. How does that work out? Oh, I know! You’re entitled to investment advisors and lawyers to work around the system for you while that 47% is entitled to well…nothing. Nothing but lack of attention or plans for change because they’re not in your voting demogrpahic, tax bracket, or country club. Pity.

Just because one group of Americans isn’t going to vote for you doesn’t mean their problems should be ignored or made worse. We are all Americans, we are all humans. Income, race, gender, religion and all may seek to split us into categories that glorify some and put down others but in the end, we are all the same. Mitt, you should be trying to find a way to connect with that 47%, not ignoring them because they won’t get you into office.
